Divine Creator of the Universe, thank you for the loving care that surrounds me on all sides and has brought me to where I am now. Today I invite your Spirit of Knowledge and Truth to be fully present with me as I seek your wisdom and direction.

I ask with confidence that you open my heart and mind to a greater understanding of who I am and a glimpse of your vision of who I might become. Guide and direct me in the pursuit of harmony with myself, with others, with all creation, and most especially with a Divine design for the next five years of my life. Help me know all is well. Allow your Divine Spirit to guide my mind with your wisdom and truth and fill my heart with your love for me. So be it.

Prayer for Guidance in Discernment of Mission

Divine Creator of the Universe, thank you for leading me to a deeper understanding of who I am. Now speak to me about the purpose for which I was created. Help me answer the question 'Why am I here on earth?'

I ask with confidence that you reveal the unique work in this life that is only mine to do. Show me what would be missing in the Universe if I had not been born. And as you lead me to these sacred truths, help me write a powerful purpose statement that expresses the reason why I exist. Make them words I can remember and will compel me to get up each day, inspire me to engage in your Universe, and empower me to make whatever difference is uniquely mine to make. 

Help me know all is well. Allow your Divine Spirit to guide my mind with your wisdom and truth and fill my heart with your love for me. So be it.

Prayer for Guidance in Discernment of Vision

Divine Creator of the Universe, you have helped me see who I am and the unique purpose to which I have been called. Thank you for these revelations. You have inspired me with possibilities and brought before me issues that will challenge me to stretch and grow.

Now I ask you to take my hand again and walk me toward a vision of what you have in mind for my destination five years from now, given what values define me, my purpose in life, and my unique opportunities and challenges. I believe with confidence that you will share with me your vision of how all things might work together for my good five years from now. Help me picture your dream for me.

And as you lead me to this vision, help me write a compelling vision statement that creates a word picture of what success looks like for me. Help me make it inspiring, compelling, and aspirational. Stretch me out of my comfort zone.

Prayer for Guidance in Discernment of Strategies

Divine Creator of the Universe, you have shown me the goals I need to accomplish to make my vision a reality. I thank you for honoring my desire to align with your will.

Now help me see how I will get there. What actions will give me the results I need to reach my goals?

Which ones are off base or not consistent with who I am or my purpose? Show me specific ways of thinking and acting that are aligned with my values and mission and will help me achieve my vision.

This is such an important step in my sacred planning.I am confident you will light my path and show me which way to go at the crossroads of life.
